Finger Lakes Wine Country, New York is home to more than 100 wineries, breweries and distilleries centered around Keuka, Seneca, Cayuga, and Canandaigua Lakes. If you do plan on coming a day early to do a small wine tour, we would suggest taking route 414 North, or Route 14 North, from Watkins Glen. You will drive by many of the areas finest vineyards in the first 10 miles up either side of Seneca Lake. All vineyards will be open for tasting, most charge a small $2 tasting fee for 5 wines. Watkins Glen State Park is the most famous of the Finger Lakes State Parks, with a reputation for leaving visitors spellbound. Within two miles, the glen's stream descends 400 feet past 200-foot cliffs, generating 19 waterfalls along its course. The gorge path winds over and under waterfalls and through the spray of Cavern Cascade. A short half hour drive from Ithaca; most visitors can make the hike in less than an hour. This is our #1 recommendation for our guests who haven't visited it already!

Taughannock Falls State Park's namesake waterfall is one of the outstanding natural attractions of the Northeast. Taughannock Falls plunges 215 feet past rocky cliffs that tower nearly 400 feet above the gorge. Gorge and rim trails offer spectacular views from above the falls and from below at the end of the gorge trail. Campsites and cabins overlook Cayuga Lake, with marina, boat launch and beach nearby.

Schooner True Love has sailed the Caribbean waters of St. Thomas since the 1950’s and was featured in the 1956 movie "High Society" with Grace Kelly, Bing Crosby, Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra. In the Fall of 2008 she was purchased by Schooner Excursions, Inc. and brought to the United States. She is available for charter and day sails through October. Robert H. Treman State Park is an area of wild beauty, with the rugged gorge called Enfield Glen as its scenic highlight. Winding trails follow the gorge past 12 waterfalls, including the 115-foot Lucifer Falls, to where visitors can see a mile-and-a-half down the wooded gorge as it winds its way to the lower park. Also be sure to check out the old timber frame mill just inside the upper entrance of the park! Enjoy nine miles of hiking trails, or swim in a stream-fed pool beneath a waterfall.
